The mathematician is regularly ranked as one of the best jobs in today's economy.  For example, Forbes published an article this month with the title "Rich Formula: Math and Computer Wizards Now Billionaires Thanks to Quant Trading Secrets."  As the power of mathematics increases within the world economy, what difference can mathematics make in major issues that humanity faces, such as world health, climate change, and fundamental human rights?
