2025 Pitt Undergraduate Integration Bee

The 2025 Pitt Undergraduate Integration Bee was held on Friday, March 21, in Alumni Hall 343. Organized by Linhong Wang and hosted by the Math Club, the event was proudly supported by the Department of Mathematics and the Frederick Honors College (FHC). This campus-wide competition brought together more than 70 undergraduate participants from across Pitt to showcase their integration skills through multiple rounds, including preliminary, lightning, and bracket finals. Over 30 attendees, including students, family members, and friends, came to cheer on the contestants.
Following a pre-qualifying round of four integrals, 21 students advanced to the showcase stage, where they solved problems live before an enthusiastic audience. From there, 10 students moved on to the qualifying round, and four finalists competed head-to-head on the blackboard for the title of Integration Bee Champion.
Champion: Malhar Vaishampayan
2nd: Anthony Arshoun
3rd: Sean Van Alen
4th: Amelia Morrison

Anthony and Amelia are both FHC honors students. The winners shared $200 in Pitt Bookstore certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances.
