Topological group structure for the fundamental group

We examine the construction of a topological group structure for the fundamental group of a space, following Jeremy Brazas's 2012 paper cited below.  In doing so, we will examine some of our familiar definitions related to fundamental groups in a category theoretic context.   We will also be able to show that some of our favorite basic results about the fundamental group can be realized with respect to topological groups as well.
