Abstract or Additional Information
First, I will go over the concepts of hyperbolic links, Dehn surgery and hidden symmetry. Then, I will talk about my recent joint work with Dr. Jason DeBlois which relates these topics and explain how our work is connected to important conjectures like Reid’s conjecture, Reid and Walsh’s conjecture etc.
