Research Interests

Carl Wang-Erickson's research interests are in number theory. He especially focuses on the relationship between Galois representations and automorphic forms predicted by the Langlands conjectures. Each of his research projects uses tools from algebra and algebraic geometry, such as p-adic interpolation, moduli spaces, deformation theory, and homotopical algebra.
