2024 Chancellor's Undergraduate Research Fellow - Lark Song

Mathematics major Lark Song has been selected as a Chancellor's Undergraduate Research Fellow for 2024.This fellowship is intended to support student involvement in independent research under the direction of a faculty mentor. Lark is being recognized for his research on a fundamental problem in classical geometry, The Truncated Octahedral Conjecture. He has been undertaking this research as part of his honors thesis, under the supervision of Professor Thomas Hales.
