Professor Michael Neilan is the recipient of the 2013 Leslie Fox Prize in Numerical Analysis. This is a prestigious international prize, awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications in the UK, based on a submitted paper and a lecture. Michael was one of six finalists who gave lectures at the 16th Leslie Fox Prize Meeting in June in Edinburgh, UK. He won the prize for his paper "Conforming and divergence-free Stokes elements on general triangular meshes"
