SIAM is hosting an applied math jobs panel on October 27th from 11 - 1PM ET. The panel consists of five University of Pittsburgh math department alumni:
Wanying Fu received a Ph.D. in mathematics, and she is currently an assistant professor of actuarial science in the Lebanon Valley College Department of Mathematics.
Ross Ingram received a Ph.D. in mathematics, and he is currently a contractor at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory - Naval Nuclear Laboratory.
Yong Li received a Ph.D. in mathematics in 2016 under the supervision of Dr. Catalin Trenchea and Dr. Bill Layton. He is currently a software engineer at Google, and prior to that was a quant at Goldman Sachs.
Youngmin Park received a Ph.D. in mathematics under the supervision of Dr. Bard Ermentrout. He is currently a postdoc in the department of Mathematics at Brandeis University, and was formerly a postdoc in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Abigail Snyder received her Ph.D. in mathematics under the supervision of Dr. Jon Rubin. She is currently an Earth Scientist at the Department of Energy's Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
