Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Opening in Mathematical Biology and Two Postdoctoral Openings

The Department of Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Mathematical Biology to begin in the fall term of 2022.  We seek outstanding candidates with expertise in developing and applying mathematical methods to address biological questions, who will complement and enhance our existing strength in this area.  Review of applications will begin on November 15, 2021, and will continue until the position is filled.

The Department of Mathematics also invites applications for two (2) open Post Doctoral Fellow positions in Mathematical Biology and Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing. Completion of a Ph.D. degree in mathematics or a closely related field is required prior to the start of appointment. Applicants should have some form of experience teaching in mathematics.
